BOOK CLUB

CRAFTS

Meets monthly on First Fridays from 9:20 - 2 PM, at various host homes.  Brown bag lunch.  Before the festival and fair we have additional workshops.   We make items to sell in our booth at the Scandinavian Midsummer Festival and Trollheim's Christmas Fair.  Some examples are our woven bentwood snowflakes, kitchen witches, yarn nisse, and embroidered "rosemaled" felt hearts.  New members welcome.  Contact Joy Gundersen at 303-664-1023.

HANDERBEIDER

Meets monthly on Third Tuesday afternoons from 1-4 PM at various host homes.  Open to all.  Bring whatever needlework, knitting, etc. you are working on.  Coffee and dessert are always served.  Check our calendar for location.

HARDANGAR & BONDESOM

Classes are tought every Third Friday by Joy Gundersen, at her home.  Cost is $5 per session which includes materials and teaching.   Lunch is brown bag.   For more information on the classes contact Joy at 303-664-1023.

SCANDINAVIAN MIDSUMMER FESTIVAL http://www.estesmidsummer.com

Held the last weekend in June. Vesterheim sponsors this event, and has a crafts booth, a demonstration booth, a raffle booth, and two large food booths there.  We are always looking for volunteers to help out.  For help in the food booth contact Addy Martinez at 303-499-5589, in the craft demonstration booth contact Joy Gundersen at 303-664-1023, for set-up contact Erik Peters at 720-524-6929, in the Silent Auction booth call Lynne Anderson at 303-652-3263.   For all other areas of help contact Erik Peters at 720-524-6929.
